Can’t travel yet? Don’t fret! Experience the world while staying in L.A!

The vibrant city is home to many people hailing from different backgrounds. These migrants have graciously brought a part of their country to L.A through an amazing selection of international cuisines. Many restaurants in the city are solely dedicated to providing authentic experiences from across the world through culinary arts.

Here are some restaurants in LA that are excited to take you on a trip to their country without having to foot outside the city.

1. Issima

Located in West Hollywood, this place will have you feeling the Ibiza summer air from L.A. Located in the Lapeer Hotel, it is the perfect place if you’re looking for a fresh vibe and food that goes straight to the heart.

The restaurant itself comes with vibrant and colorful aesthetics, as well as a pool to remind you of the European beach holidays. The menu offers fresh seafood with a Californian touch and cocktails that will make you feel like you’re on vacation.

2. Cha Cha Chá

Feel the Mexican vibe while sitting in a downtown rooftop restaurant located in Little Tokyo. The owners went the extra mile with the decoration as well — the lush green plants and interior aesthetics are definitely the restaurant’s top features.

The experience is also one of the reasons you have to make sure to book in advance because while the seating is limited, people wanting to try this place out are not.

3. Soko

Bring your dreams of visiting Japan to life by heading over to this eatery located in Santa Monica. A surge in demand forced the restaurant to go for online bookings so it is recommended that you make sure to reserve a seat beforehand.

The chef Masa Shimakawa pays homage to Hokkaido by basing the entire menu off of it and bringing you sushi as you’ve never had before. If you do get a chance to visit the Japan-inspired restaurant, make sure to ask for the off-menu secret roll, which is a gold-encrusted creation of toro, uni, salmon, caviar, and avocado.

Many more restaurants are an internet search away. Have you been particularly intrigued about a certain country’s cuisine? L.A definitely has a solution for all your cravings!
